ICAO Aviation Security Instructors Certification Course - AVSEC Training

ICAO Aviation Security Instructors Certification Course was held from 12th to 16th December at the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre (ASTC) in Doncaster, the United Kingdom. Representatives from Ireland, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Slovenia and Czech Republic completed Phase I. as a on-line course. Phase II., the five day classroom segment consisted of the instructional techniques (theoretical and practical) from the ICAO Instructor Competency Framework.

Each participant successfully completed all classroom evaluations, as well as a subject-matter expertise (SME) written examination which was based on Annex 17, ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973 - Restricted) and ICAO training material.

All nine representatives including Mrs. Jana Podolkova, AVSEC & Emergecy Training, were recognized as ICAO certified Aviation Security Instructors and will deliver the AVSEC courses on behalf of ICAO.
